We're home...

After a full week with Rae Ann & Bob in NC, we decided we should give the kids back their lives.

We had a great time. Nice weather and plenty of time for relaxation--golf. We golfed M-F and racked up a total of 85 holes in that time. We played 9 holes with Rae Ann and Bob on Monday. (Bob had it off, so Rae Ann took it off as well.) We played 4 different courses during our stay. Lots of foothills to play on.

We celebrated happy hour daily with a drink before we either went out or I cooked or Rae Ann cooked or Bob grilled. We never lacked for wonderful food to eat.

We left their home at 6:44 a.m. on Monday, March 17--Happy St. Patrick's Day--and after a short stop to stock up on groceries, we arrived home no later than 7:15 p.m. It is approximately 740 miles between the two homes. We had an awesome time, but all good things must come to an end.

Ray & I are trying to get acquainted with our own home once again after 22 nights of being away.
