My yearly basketweaving convention was held in Kalamazoo this year at the downtown Radisson. I wove this "Lace Basket" at the preconvention workshop on Wednesday and Thursday, October 10 & 11 with Keiko Takeda of Tokyo, Japan. Twelve hours and two days later, it was complete. It has a cross stitch base pattern and waves of twisted cane around the sides.
